Temporary Work visa (Skilled subclass 457),
Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457) allows skilled workers to come to Australia and work for an approved business for up to four years.

You must be sponsored by an approved business or Employer. A business or Employer can sponsor the candidate only provided if they cannot find an Australian citizen or permanent resident to qualify for business requirement.

Under this visa class one can bring their family and the visa is valid for a period up to four years, Family members or dependents can enjoy full rights of unrestricted work and study in Australia. Apart there is no limit on the number of times travel in and out of Australia.

Requirements:

• Sponsoring Company or Employer need to be approved by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection mandate as Sponsor.
• 457 visa holders are not allowed to work for any other organization, in case one needs to change the employer candidate need to get no objection letter from the first employer and the new sponsor or the company need to meet the prerequisite of 457 visa class.
• Candidate need to demonstrate English language requirement for this visa class in addition to character and health requirements. Trade occupation candidates need to Have TRA assessment before filing the visa.
• 457 visa holders are eligible to apply for a permanent Australia resident’s visa with a view to permanently settle in Australia and become Australian citizens.

Employer Nomination Immigration program (subclass 186)
Employer Nomination immigration visa -subclass 186 allows skilled workers who would love to make Australia as their second home to live, work and settle permanently in Australia.

This visa Application process involves a two-step process,

1. Candidate need to be sponsored by the Employer, the Employment need to be approved by the DIAC authorities.
2. This is a permanent residence visa class Application. Applicant can either be in Australia or out of Australia to apply for this visa.

The visa has three streams:

1. Temporary Residence Transition stream (subclass 457 )
   This visa is for the one who has two years of working experience with Australian employer under 457 visa class and the Employer who wants to offer permanent role of the same Position can be eligible under this scheme
2. The Direct Entry Stream:
   This visa can be exercised.
   • people who have never, or only briefly, worked in Australia, or
   • Temporary residents who do not qualify for the Temporary Residence Transition stream.
3. The Agreement stream:
   This visa is for the candidates who are sponsored by an employer through a negotiated formal labor agreement.
